I was wondering if anyone out there knows how the unit models are coded, and if so, how to read them and encode new ones. Plus, I would like to change the unit stats/weapons, ect..(more than the map editor allows). I read an old post on this forum that said there were supposed to be text files, but that they were forgotten. Any Idea how I can get these text files? Any help would be nice. This is for the full Version of the game of course, not the demo.

I did read in a post farther down about .map files being simply a text file. But I would like additional information too. I like the demo, and was thinking of writing my own game like this, but if I can simply drop in my own models and stats ..... that would be just awsome.
Sure, I could code it, but in terms of price vs time, its cheaper to simply buy it instead of spending alot of time reinventing the wheel when a car is right here.

I would like to add buildings and things that could be destroyed during combat. Why not have a supply depot (works as a very large supply truck) that can also resupply the supply trucks. This would make a very strategic target in a scirmish. Total victory would not be required if the target could be destroyed and some units retreat off the map.

Tank Traps, electric fenses that cause "soldiers" to malfunction (die) would make a great obsticle for the engineers to remove or construct around a supply depot.

Maybe add airports to resupply aircraft units ....
just some thoughts. I'm still thinking, Can this editor do these things?

I have also looked at ATF and found it to be too realistic for me. Although the editor seems awesome, I have been having problems with commanding units reliably. Not all mouse clicks work (for me) in ATF, but RA seems to work fine, but needs purpose and extras.
