So what is going on with this game? Any changes made? Things added? Multiplayer?

I love the SE games, but this game seems to be too basic for release...am I missing something here?

It hasn't even shipped yet guys. It iwll next week.

Yup, love SE, played demo. Baffled why it's being released. Stick in a tactical party based combat system with a choice between realtime and turn based and you might have something. Otherwise it looks like NetHack with poorer combat. Again, love Space Empires.

My sentiments exactly, Warhound23. The demo, if it's any indication of the game, seems far too bland. I think Dungeon Oddesey might be the start of many years of experience building up to a much better game, much in the same manner that Space Empires IV is the culimnation of years of experience.
