I liked your idea for bone armor so much I created 2 new tiles.. BoneArmor and BoneHelm.

I sent them to Aaron because I don't know how to post/upload files here! (I suspect that they will be inserted into an upcomming patch at some point!)

Cheers!

David - What I have done is go back to the Intel forums, and enter the New Scenario/Mod Forum. Go to post a new topic and upload the file, but instead of pasting the link into the message, back out, and go to forum you want to post the file in, and attack the link to the file there.

I must be blind or that option is just not available to me!

you need to go into a topic and then go in reply and then you see next to the big rectangle where you write there is file uploading you click on it , you upload and you copy the link and it's done ! and for the bone armor , i tryed to make a bone helm same time as the bone armor but the helm was ugly so i stoped. i got the idea of making bone armor from the game ultima Online

David - On the left hand side, under Message:, HTML is enabled, and UBB Code is enabled, should be a link for file upload form (same place as it says 'File Uploading is not allowed in this forum' when you post a reply)

the bone helm is not what i was imagining but it,s still very good and original , i like the bone armor, what i was thinking for a bonehead was a crane with horns . here's the link for the picture of the bone armor from the original game i know (on top of the page) : web page (http://www.xs4all.nl/~xxnxx/armorinfo/armours.htm)

i think the bone helm on that page is about the good size to be able to put it in the game

On the main GUI the monsters are placed in a frame in the upper right window where a description is also shown. Having the monsters larger than 32x32 will result in strange overlaping in the info window.

I'll post a sample layout bmp so that yo can see how the 32x32 pic is placed within the 54x54.

Cheers.

Here is a sample layout for monster tiles.

1034804863.bmp (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/newuploads/1034804863.bmp)

It might be interesting to have larger monsters that make use of the full 54x54 maptile size. With this in mind I'll ask Aaron if it might be possible to remove the 'button/box' overlay in the info window. then there wouldn't be overlaping problems.

Have a Great day.

Here is a unicorn pic I did a while back. (I suspect that it is in the 'full Version' of the game, but It has not to my knowledge been inserted into the beta patches or the demo.)

1034807029.bmp (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/newuploads/1034807029.bmp)

FYI: you can expect me to take an active interest in creating new tiles throughout the life of Dungeon Odyssey. And once I start to attack making some new modules (Still waiting for a 'load' feature in the editor!) Expect to see some new tiles in my modules.

Have a Great Day people.

Akachaki & Niko, nice pics guys. Although I must admit, Niko, that I like the more 'cartoony' retro feel of David's originals. But it's very cool to know that we can change 'the look' of the game by modding it anytime we want!

David, kudos on the fantastic art of the game! Playing DO makes me feel like a youngster again! I'm having a bLast with this little gem! You're very talented and I look forward to more art for DO in the future from you!

P.S. The Unicorn was NOT in the monsters pics directory of my retail Version originally.

Thanks, Henk, but it appears there is something wrong with the uploaded file. I'm getting an unable to read error. Anyone else having this problem? It COULD be Mozilla 1.2b that is having the problem as I've just upgraded the browser.

You could left-click on my avatar and save as a bmp, than change the background collor to RGB 255,0,255 then you'll at least have one of the wizards http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
