Try to mail Aaron directly and sent him an error report with some details about your hardware.

Same problem here...
I use Win98SE with a Voodoo3 3000 (16MB) and DX8.1, 512MB ram...
The same problem (black rolling lines and then crash to desktop) happened with the game Disciples 2. The developers released a patch that fixed it.
Since i never had problems with other new games i guess that it's a problem with the way that the game handles DX api calls...

Does anyone know if it is a problem with older video cards? Anyone else running the game with a Voodoo card?
Thanks for helping me with this.

The demo runs but the screen flickers badly! The full game arrived and it crashes when the first screen appears!
I have DX8.1 and i am using DX8.1 compliant drivers. WarcraftIII [heavy on 3d graphics] and Medieval [also 3d] - both new games - work without any problem!
Is it possible for another part to cause this problem? [SCSI card, SB Live sound card, e.t.c]
