will there ever be an option to buy games via download for people with a fast connection? i am sitting in old europe (germany) and would like to buy space empires 4, which i discovered yesterday. i like this game a lot. but the shippingrates from the US with ups are simply toooo high. it would be great if you could arrange a download-option, and maybe it would help to distribute your games to faraway places.

There is a UK distributor (look on www.malfador.com (http://www.malfador.com) in the se4 section). Maybe you could get lower rates from them?

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to get it cheaper. the cheapest way is still directly from shrapnel games. The €/US exchange rate is quite good at the moment so I would suggest to buy it now. It is worth it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

People in Europe (EU space) might consider checking www.strategic-plus.co.uk (http://www.strategic-plus.co.uk) who distribute Shrapnel games from the UK. Being in the EU helps avoid the heavy taxes we have to endure when ordering stuff from the United States.
Hope this helps.
