Sure. Though not all ships drop items. Most do though. You will probably have to take it to a spacedock to repair before using (you can only equip them there anyways).

If you use that hack and put damaged components on your ship, your crew will fix it as normal. Don't do it with shields/armour unless you're confident you won't get creamed real soon, though.

after i destroyed an enemy ship, is there a way to capture something (like goods, weapons) from the destroyed ship an sell/use it later?
