The title says it.Am i the only 1 botherd with the saving system (technique)?
I mean if u have more than 1 save u'll get lost and confused http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/confused.gif

U see, for an example, when u have 3 saves and after a tough hard won battle u decided to save but the problem is, u don't remember (will i don't)which was the Last save u did ( u know, keeping 1 for just in case).

That's due to the saving sustem.Ur Last save wont go to the top or show u atleast the date.

I found a solution 4 this, u can number the saves but after a while it gets pretty annoying.
So,i'm wondering if there is a new patch or something and thx.... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

P.S: i have the full game and the latest patch (v 1.15 i think)

Yes, it would be nice if the actual time/date stamp of a saved game was visible. The internal (game) date would be a nice thing to see as well.

Another thing that is missing: Delete a game! You have to use Windows Explorer to go into the game directory and manually delete a game right now.

Why didn't you type a descriptive name when it asks for one?

I don't name my saves "slot 1"...
At the very least I'll put in:
"Game 1 - main"
"Game 1 - Last bigbattle"
and such.

Save 3 times per encounter???
If you're wanting to eliminate all risk, why not just turn on the invulnerability cheat code...

Personally, I only save once or twice per session, and believe retreat from a superior enemy is a perfectly valid combat strategy.

I save when I quit and when I win some major conflict. Otherwise the Autosave is good enough backup for me. I can always replay one system.

As save game names I use shipnames so I know which slot refers to which ship.

Hmmm...i guess i never thought of it that way.I just liked this motto "Better safe that sorry".That's why i kept saving, just in case. But as i said,i never thought of it that way.Without the risk element the game is no fun.I've started a new page in playing recently.Thx guys http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
