Does anybody know of a possibility to purchase the game in Europe?

If not, maybe there are some Germans around, who consider ordering it from Shrapnel, but do not comply with the methods of payment. If so, we could order several boxes at once and save some post & package money.

Although this seems like a logical place to post this question, you might have better luck here:

Shrapnel Games sells Dominions, and that's the forum to ask them questions about buying stuff, while this forum is filled more with fans and the developers (who may or may not know).

P.S.

by Mephisto:
I'm not an offcial but anyway: The cheapest way is to order it from the shrapnel web site. Ordering it anywhere else is just the same money or more. And no, you cannot download SE4 anywhere. I'm sorry. Buy it quick as long as the € has such a good exchange rate. <font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">So, yes, Shrapnel sends the game anywhere.

Don't believe what the game designers tell you!
Ulm resp. Germany is not inhabited by stocky people! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Being stocky is good (+2 HP), it's the low magic resistance you should worry about.

I believe that www.tuxgames.com (http://www.tuxgames.com) is located in Great Brittain but it is quite hard to make out since it's an Online shop.

I encounter that every Sunday morning, when that little nasty bottle-demon has casted a Drain Life-spell on me overnight. I hardly ever managed to avoid it.

Any other idéa?

Maybe the developers could confirm that there is only one CD for all the platforms?

It will approximately cost $60 to get it here is Sweden. If i can get it for the same price from a EU reseller i avoid the Swedish tax and custom fee. See why i want it buy it from a EU reseller?

Adressing Germans and our neighbors, who are looking forward to buy Dom2 I found a Online-reseller, who offers Dom2 for 49,50 EUR:
http://ixsoft.de/

For Europeans p&p range from 5,95 to 16,95 depending on where you live.
Date of availability: 6.12.03

Ouch, that's expensive.

I paid 40? in total including delivery, from Shrapnel, but then again, I preordered with a friend of mine to save shipping costs.

German here, too. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

If you order Global Priority from us and the package weight is under 16 ounces (1 copy of DOM II is 12 ounces) then it goes as documents and there is no customs fee.

They do mail-order, and ship to Europe, if one believes their ad.

They have a Website (www.store4war.com), advertise the game at 49 Euros, and shipping inside Europe seems to cost 8 Euros for orders under 80. I've never ordered anything from them, and have no personal interest in them. Just providing a pointer to those in need...

Don't hesitate to buy from them ! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
But honestly IMHO there isn't much point in buying the game in Europe on the Web rather than direct from Shrapnel's : you need a CC anyway, and with 1 Euro now over 1.2 $ it's cheaper... (maybe you'll gain a couple days for delivery, but that's all)
