Oh Shrappy! Not Nice!
I get an email with a "Merry Christmas from Shrapnel Games" subject. The first thing I see on the card is a picture of Santa holding Dominions 2 and Lock-and-Load. Next I see a 15% off coupon (yes I saw the asterisk later). Then a bit about free expedite shipping in the US. And way down at the bottom is a note that certain games (including Dominions 2) are not covered by the offer. AWhhhhhhh! Im disappointed. I had my hopes up.
Im not knocking any of the facts of this. Excluding new releases makes sense. But COME ON! Having it prominently displayed in the graphic at the top and then excluded at the bottom is at least worthy of a "yeah probably shouldnt have done that". It kindof comes off as either an error in marketing, or a purposeful tactic in marketing. Hmmmmmm?
By the way, as someone who has done mass emailings, displaying so many email addresses is something to be avoided.
