Some of you might not know that Dominions 2 is based on a true story, the story of Kim Jong Il. Check out his divine titles, unfortunately they have only listed a few of his 1200+.

http://www.worldtribune.com/worldtribune/breaking_8.html

The coolest part of the whole article is that the Central Broadcasting station claims that it is foreign leaders that have come up with these titles: "Prominent leaders from 160 nation across the world have used at least 1,200 titles to honor our Great General (Kim Jong-Il),", apparently these prominent foreign leaders refered to Kim as amongst other things Guardian Deity of the Planet and the Sun of the Revolution. Look for some of these inspiring titles in upcoming dom 2 patches

LOL! That's it! If he can have 1200, I want a title of my own too! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

My favorite one was "Party Center". Somehow doesn't sound as impressive in English!

Are you kidding me? "Party Center" is the title you WANT for your god.

Sort of like "Master of Jaggermeister". "Supreme Vodka Commander" and "Sultan of Schnapps".

I was a little suprised that they actually went so far as calling him a deity though. But perhaps the Korean word doesn't sound as conspicously nonsecular as the english equivalent.

Brian: I don't know if you have noticed but you can become lord (or god or something) of birds and parrots in dom 2, the parrot part was added as a kind of thank you for your proof reading.

Considering his father is still the president even though he's been dead for years, IIRC, it's not too far off. I guess their priests just didn't learn about "Call God" command yet. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

(That one I'm sure was George Bush's, always a pious man) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Can't blame Kim if his foreign fanbase goes overboard with the praise occasionally. It might be worth noting that if his number of divine tiltes is determined in a dom2 fashion his dominion strength would be in excess of 2400.

He might be better as Mictlan pretender=) And his dominion effects are just off the scales...

I'd say:

Turmoil 12 (with lots of patrolling)
Sloth 7
Death 4 (a nice -80% food production)
Luck 4 (he's alive, isn't he?)
Drain 99 (I don't think much research will ever come from NK)

Dominion strength 1, dominion requires blood sacrifice of citizenry, and dominion cannot spread beyond national borders.

The funniest IMHO is :
“Walking Computer Who Surprises Experts” http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

"Guardian Deity of the Planet"... now that really sounds like a pretender title. o.o

EDIT: a really, really pretentious ( http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif ) pretender.

All right, I can see the utility in resurecting some dormant threads when the resurecting party has some desire to discuss the contents thereof. But to resurect an off-topic thread, via a simple, non-additive bump? I fail to see any sort of reasonable justification...
