If some user ever DOES write a Prima Strategy Guide, or Dominions for Dummies, we will need cartoons. Some of the stories here would make great short jokes or cartoons.
Like the image of a player yelling at his monitor "You STUPID MAGE! That wasnt what I told you to do! I AM YOUR GOD. LISTEN TO ME"
Or maybe a 3 square cartoon with
HE: "Honey? What does Nagot Gick Fel mean?"
SHE: "I think its Swedish"
SHE: "I bet it means some thing like you have been playing this game too long go check on your family"
-- It's hard on the ego of a god-gamer when the virtual inhabitants turn out to be atheists.

Right, so what "Nagot Gick Fel" means? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif With my very limited knowledge of Swedish I could only decipher it like "something went wrong", but it'd be interesting to know the correct translation.

Något = Something
Gick = Went
Fel = Wrong
Pretty straight forward. Nothing to fuzz about http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Im sorry, I knew that and should have included it for the curious. Its just that I always use it the other way. As the Hand of Fate stepping in to remind me to look up from the computer occassionally. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

I'm not the greatest to do drawing, but here are some samples:

There's this play in French where there's a pretentious character who tries to impress with his lore, and he says something like:
Omnis a Deo scientia. Omnis: All. A Deo: Science. Scientia: Comes from God. All science comes from God.
(bonus points to any non-Frenchman who identifies the play)

Wish I could say I knew this but one of the things I am really good at is Internet research.
