View Full Version : What was that item again?

So I have a nicely dog-earred manual at this point, being able to look up spells and items while away from the computer is great. I do wonder, however, if I'm missing somewhere I can look up items in the game itself. I regularly browse the various magic descriptions from the Lab when I'm trying to figure out what to research next, but cannot seem to find anything about items. Is it just me? Would it be possible to add the ability if it's not there?

You'll find most of the requirements of item construction in my Magic Item Reference.

Fair enough Zen, for now I think I'll just keep the manual next to the computer http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif It's your choice. But the Magic Item reference is also printer friendly. I've already found it immensely useful and I memorized most of the information as I was redoing and retesting and finding hidden effects and trying to explain other effects.
All in all I believe the Magic Item Reference gives you enough information for you to know what you need in order to make the items you wish http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
I'd love to see them put in a magic item database just like the spell database for ease of use, but I don't consider that high on my list of desires right now, as there are more pressing issues that I want them to put their time into http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Zen,
Would you mind posting a link to your list? I searched under “magic” and your name, but could not locate it. A print out of the items and what they require could make life a lot easier.
Thanks!

Any takers?
