How do I remove a curse from one of my units, commanders or prender?

You don't. It's like Luggage, you just 'got it'.

damnit! So if a figter pretender got it, he/she is doomed. That's a really nasty spell for a level 2.

Not 'doomed', but very much on the bad side of afflictions. I wouldn't send that particular pretender into mortal combat alone, and I might think about casting Gift of Health at that point.

The chance to get affliction is pretty high, and if you are "lucky" you get the neverending decease which means you are doomed. In a early games for a battle-pretender the curse is a nightmare, because Gift Of Health is an Enchantment level 5. I noticed that spell luck don't negate the bad effect of curse which I think it should, not removing the curse just holding against the effect(s).

Curse is one of the Super-Combatant counterbalances. It's best to avoid it if you can, and to not take Lizard provinces with SC's http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
Curse is IMO fairly balanced. Perhaps there should be a way to get rid of it, but as of right now, the Coronas are telling me it's just fine.
