Playing Arco in a MP game, my strategy was to research conjuration to level 5 ASAP and get Acashic Record, the spell that searches a site at level-9 in all paths for a cost of 25 pearls. Then, being awash in gems, my mages would get a head start in the summoning race.

This I did, and I have begun to search the surrounding provinces with the spell.

The odd thing is that out of the four provinces I have searched thus far, two of them gained structures - one got a temple, and the other gained a watchtower.

Now I dismissed the arrival of the temple, assuming that I had accidentally instructed its construction while thinking I had someone else selected.

The watchtower is definately not my direct doing, given that I bought castles, not watchtowers for my fortification.

I've used Acashic Record in a number of other games and it never "discovered" structures before. Was I just unlucky in the previous games? Is this supposed to happen with this spell?

There are searchable sites that give you structures. Things like the Crystal Citadel (Earth/Astral) gives you a fortification and I think a Lab.

The Pyromancer site as well gives you a castle. As well as a few others. Check Sunray's site for more particular information on which ones.

Good grief! I had no idea.

Thanks for the pointer.
