It's great to finally have a game where you only need to work with small-scale grpahics to make a good mod - I'm having alot of fun with it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif But I still have a few questions that're holding me up, even after reading through the modding doc and some of the Posts here.

1. Is it possible to access the original unit graphics in the game?

2. How do you determine the leadership ability of a commander? (I read through the modding doc half a dozen times thinking I must've missed the leadership tag - am I blind?)

3. Kick. I looked through the list of item ids in this forum, but it seems that no one knows the id of kick. Is it at all possible to give a unit this weapon, at this point?

1. No. The next best thing is to take a screenshot and paste that into a graphics program.

2. Leadership can't be set (yet). All new commanders have 25 leadership.

Up on Illwinter's site you can download Cherry's "Black Map" mod which allows you to get screenshots of most fo the units in the game.

Not a great solution, but the best one out there right now.

Ah, that's unfortunate about not being able to set the leadership yet. I tried 'renovating' existing leaders instead, but many of them have abilities and such that you can't get rid of. Oh well, hopefully it'll be possible in the next patch.

Here's a preview of the mod I was working on... But I have a feeling that the Pictsies from the Discworld books might be a bit too obscure of a referance for most people to reconize. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Notice the pipers in the bottom right. They're who I wanted to give the kick ability to, but I guess they'll have to make due with headbutting for now. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif (They are standard bearers that also cause fear, if you're wondering)
