A couple of questions:

- Does astral weapon bypass etherealness?

- Does it effect trampling?

IIRC, the main advantage of Astral Weapon is Armour Negating, i.e. the damage is dealt directly to the target, bypassing the Protection value of target.

As for Etheralness, I believe Astral Weapons are no more effective against them as other conventional weapons, i.e. still have same chances of missing.

Lastly, what do you mean by trampling? You mean if a creature with astral weapon and trampling ability, does it do armour negating trampling damage? Not sure on this, but other more experienced player can fill you in on this.

Astral weapon doesn't affect Trampling.

Astral Weapon does not seem to affect all weapons, though. Maybe it only affects handheld ones (not Gore, Kick, Hoof, Stone Bird, Owl, Bows, etc.)

I too would expect astral weapon to overcome etherealness, like all magic weapons.
