My first poll attempt, excuse me if rotten.

The question in the title refers to extra gems when casting rituals and dispelling same.

Obviously, the only answer is "it depends". Right. Depends on your race, on your gem situation, on your enemies, on the type of spell being cast (burden of time oh please make it go away vs mother oak not bothering me so acutely)
Of course. I am just trying to get a gggeeennneeerraaalll feel.

So I will try to contextualize with a few questions. Of course, I cant possible cover all situations, but bear with me if possible and feel free to elucidate your answers by giving your thoughts in your Posts.

Very varied so far after 7 votes, interesting.
Is anyone else finding this helpful?

Well, values of the 76 range don't really begin to summarize the pattern I use for casting: Generally, I tend to ram maybe 300+ gems total into any spell. I figure anything worth doing is worth doing with excessive force. Generally, I'll start with maybe 300, and anytime it gets dispelled, I'll triple it.

Seems like "All I have at lab" option is missing. Personally, I would have liked n/a too, because I don't cast those spells very often.

Well live and learn. Sorry I cant edit the poll once it is up.
Slogan, I don't understand "n/a" *because of missing internet connection*, what do you mean?
