Choppy sound

XPSP1, onboard C-Media 8738 (SOYO SY-K7V Dragon Plus) with latest drivers from cmedia.com.tw, Patch 2.08.

I get little choppy bits of static on the main title screen, and for the rest of the game it only pops up once in a while, but it's still annoying. Anyone else? Tried searching these Boards but they're set up really strange, such that searching gets you nowhere due to the reversed pages.

Change your sound to 'waveout' in the audio settings, then restart the game. That should fix it.
