Has anyone made a Spell Guide that includes the numbers? (Such as: Exactly how much protection is added by Legions of Steel etc)

I have the Summoned Creature QR nearly done and the Ritual QR is done with the exception of a few nasty bugs I'm in the process of dealing with. The 2.08 patch has kind of put them slightly back on the plan but now that it's mostly ironed out I'll be finishing them up shortly.

I have a mangled QR for Battlefield spells which includes most specific #'s but a portion of them are affected by Paths that the spell doesn't mention it within the spell description so it will take me slightly longer than the SCQR. Expect them in the next 2 weeks.

Zen (et. al. (but mostly Zen)),

A detailed spell list would be INCREDIBLY helpful. Something that was organized (or dare I dream) sortable by magic path would be even cooler. It would rule to know what spells would be available to my pretender / mages with X levels of X magic school while setting up.

However you do it it will certainly be a boon to us all so thanks in advance. And thanks to all you guys who share your knowledge on the forums. My play has improved considerably reading your Posts.

Piece,

liga nice dom2 page! Very useful. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Also, the link you gave to newbie tips is wrong. You need to put dom2 in your path right after ~ligabue

Thanks!

They are slowly forthcoming Liga. I had said there would be a long delay before I finally compiled everything about the spells in the vain hopes that someone else would spend the effort doing it. Though I can clearly see that people are more wrapped up in bickering instead of playing and/or doing other things. So I will hurry up the final portions and try to get it out for those who would like a reference of the spells.

Again, apologies Liga. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Zen -

For what it's worth, I've been working on a spells spreadsheet that's a kind of compilation of a bunch of other fan-made resources out there -name, primary path, requirements, type, gem cost, fatigue, school, level, class, manual page reference number, and spell description. I've got it in excel because I like the sorting features.

At this time, its probably 75-80% complete. If any of that info would help you in your project, you're welcome to it, if you prefer to wait, I hope to have it complete for others to use before too much longer.

For what it's worth, I made a compilation too, based on Sunray's dom2spells.xls (plus did a bit of errata). It's in Excel and thus sortable (multicolumn).

I also transfered some creature info to the summons fron the Creature Quick Reference, and typed in the page numbers. You can get it here (http://www.alcatholic.dk/files/Dom2Grimorie.zip).

However, what I'd really like to see are things like spell damage, and possibly a "thumbs up/down" subjective column, maybe with experts comments. It's a jungle of spells, and knowing which spells to filter out in your case would be a real timesaver. Unfortunately I'm not qualifyed to make such advice (least not yet http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif ).

Also, there is that Grimoire-thing. http://www.sangster.org/dominions/grimorie.php

Yeah, that's a great tool! I just wanted to have access to the same type of info offline.

Ditto - I much prefer an offline Version, especially one that's sortable in multiple ways.

BTW Innocence - thanks for posting that up. It's a great looking spreadsheet!

I'm not quite ready to abandon mine, though, mostly because of the effort I've already put into it. hehe. and the desire to add the spell descriptions.
