OK it seems that people who upgraded dont just get the error for themselves. The game comes down informing the host that they MUST upgrade. I dont think I like it that way.

So now I guess we all must upgrade or drop one of the players.

Could you pls elaborate Gandalf? are you saying that someone upgraded before checking with you?

I did not upgrade yet as you said nothing ont he issue, have had no error message either. Tho I haven't been able to connect to forward t54 (did you per chance take the host down?).

Oh, well...I'm leaving to get some sleep.

My Jotunheim-Utgard is pretty much defeated anyway and upgrade is irrelevant for me. Well, unless those Seithkonur gained few hundreds hitpoints instead of their magic abilities ;-)

I have both installed so either Version works for me.

I have a request though, that the game does not host tonight, as I have been unable to connect to start my turn.

I've got both installed too, so whatever works best for you is fine with me.

We have one who connected with an upgraded Version. Im not sure if I should post who it was. I had thought it would just bounce that player but instead it brings down the server (I see where this could be abused by angry players).

Im not thrilled that the automatic assumtion here was that the host should be told that they must upgrade to the newer Version. I guess thats too keep out players who have illegal keys.

So in order to continue it looks like we upgrade. Anyone actually have a "NO" answer to that?

The only one who would really be entitled to say "no" to upgrading (apart from you as host, ofc) is Jotun, and the player has already said that he's OK with doing it anyway.

So I believe I can speak for the group and say that 'whenever it suits you, just confirm it here so that we can all follow acordingly'.

OK lets see if we can make it work.
Dom ver 2.08 everybody.

Hopefully this wont require too many changes since Im operating under medication that says "dont operate heavy machinery".
