blood slaves...

I have successful blood hunts, find slaves, but never see any listed with gems and can not cast spells that require blood slaves... what am I doing wrong?

If there's a lab at your hunting site, try the 'pool' command. Otherwise you'll have to assign a commander to transfer the slaves from your hunters to your nearest lab.
