In my AAR, I have the Academy of High Magics, where Wizards can be recruited. There are two, nearly-identical Wizards, one red, the other blue. Is there any difference between them in terms of their random spell picks or in some other fashion (beside their minor difference in stats)? TIA.

The 2? are always in the same magic path - eg, with the 1st type you can get 2 fire/1 astral, but never 1 fire/1 air/1 astral.

Cool. Thanks! That's precisely the info I needed/wanted.

It's the Red Wizard that has the Elemental, and the Blue that has the sorcery.

Thanks, guys, but I did "get it" the first time. You're beating a dead horse. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

My reply was mainly for the fact that it wasn't clear and hopefully if there is a search later, they can read this thread instead of asking again. As this is a wizard thread ;P And there are places where you can only recruit one wizard or the other not always both http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif
DEAD HORSE? NO. Kick it some more.

Kick it some more. <font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Gah, that assumes that 1) people have the common sense to even know there's a search function, much less to actually endeavor to use it, and 2) that people understand what they read. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

Not sure I understand though - blue? red? One wizard smells like dust, and the other tastes like chicken. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Web-forums are quickly catching up with Usenet newsGroups. And one of the common sayings about usenet newsGroups is...
"You should realize Usenet is a strange reality where you see people beating up a greasy patch of grass where nine years ago there used to be a dead horse."
