Casting, Fatigue and Afflictrions

Hmm... I seem to remember reading somewhere that when fatigue through casting is above 100 there is a chance of receiving battle afflictions is this correct?

I once tried communion master with two slaves on the first time out I watch the battle just to see them in action, I thought it was great until two out of the three picked up battle afflictions.

They did not appear to be hit by anything so was this due to high fatigue?


Any thoughts?
