Not to be a whiner or a jerk or anything, but maybe Illwinter could consider making some kind of icon that represents having hidden forces in a province? This is just a little bug-me thing that I think would be fairly correctable http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

This has also been repeatedly requested ...

EDIT: you may want to check out the stickied thread List Game Bugs here (http://www.shrapnelgames.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=74;t=000201) as well as other threads via the forum's SEARCH function, for what people have already griped about. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

a good point but I feel I should mention the "n" key which made it much less irritating to me.

The brown-cloak stealthy icon would work just fine, methinks.

(the "next commander" command is nice, but in large games, I tend to have lots of commanders, some of which really do nothing - non-priests, non-mages, in a fortress, who don't want to be caught patrolling in case of a random attack; and, mostly, hordes of sneaking scouts, unmoving, as they are simply spying outside the borders. The "n" key just finds lots of them...)

I agree, PhilD. The N key is nice, but sometimes it would be nice to see them clearly on the overland map and move the ones who would benefit by having a better position.

This seems to me one of the more important interface improvements which could be made. It ranks a bit below putting army information in the basic info about the province you get without having to press the province information button.
