and resume control of your nation a little later?
Or once you select the option to set your nation to computer control, is that it for you for that game?

The switch is permanent.

A one way trip tho Id love it if it werent. Id love to be able to jump into an AI just to see how it does things.
In most MP games people ask for someone to be a temporary standin. The only probably with that is that you cant change your password afterward. Especially rough if you use the same one all the time

The 'always same password' issue is hard to get around, but you could ask someone who is not another player in that game to stand in for you, and not tell anyone who it is.

Of course, if the program had the option to change the password, the problem would be the standin changing it and not letting you back in. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

a reversible AI switch would be so easy to do, and so cool to play with.

Im not sure if the computer player operates in a way that is easily transferable to player control. Of course Im not sure if having access to the AI will improve or worsen the threads about its effectivness

Using different passwords in each game can be a very effective way to teach yourself hard-to-remember vocabulary (foreign or otherwise), important dates (e.g. anniversary), spelling, etc. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Everything I learned about Nagot Gick Fel, I learned while trying to patch Dominions. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
