A couple times now, I've tried cloud-trapezing onto an enemy army, only to find that it has moved away before I get to attack it. The first time it happened, I thought "ok, maybe I moved to the wrong province or something". But now its happened again, and I'm fairly certain that something has gone wrong in the sequence of play.

Perhaps he hid. It might be possible that hide/sneak is instant and not a movement at all (the actual movement order is still a movement of course, but the hiding aspect is probably set the moment you make your turn).

Saber Cherry posted 1st of March on bugs thread that the cloud trapeze is bugged, the movement happening in normal movement phase. Might this be the thing you describe?

Kristoffer: Thanks for the astoundingly prompt responce http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif That isn't what happened - the army in question attacked one of my adjacent provinces, and I got a message that my trapezing Air Queen took control of of the undefended province it had previously occupied. Would you want to see the game file?

Atul: Thanks for that info. It does agree with what I saw. I don't read the bugs thread anymore since its so consistently off-topic http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

There has been a bug with cloud trapeze. What Version do you use?

The same thing happened to me under 2.08.
Didn't report it, because I thought at the time that this was meant to be.
I don't think I have the game-file though.

Cloud Trapeze definitely resolves late under 2.08.
It's happened to me a couple of times.
