How would I go about getting a new CD, short of re-purchasing the game? I bought it 2 weeks ago, installed it and have been playing, but I lost the CD and need to re-build my computer. (Wife installed spyware that's made a mess of the computer). I still have my manual, so I have my CD Key, I just need the CD for installation.
Anyone have an email address for Illwinter?
Thanks,
-Ed

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">You can't. There's no way to buy a new CD short of purchasing an entirely new copy of the game. As a legal owner of the game, however, with a valid CD key, you may, depending on where you live, be legally allowed to download one of the free "backup" copies off the Internet: Dominions II doesn't bother with any of those useless copy protection schemes that really only stops legal owners from backing up their CDs to prevent problems like the one you're encountering now from happening. It's either this, or buying a new copy of the game.
And hey, why not? You'll get ANOTHER CDkey. Fun for the whole family!

I don't think illwinter would have any way of helping you as it would be Shrapnel who would have to deal with their policy and informational types of situations.
Try going to the customer service area of the Shrapnel website and they should be able to help you, at the very least know what your options are.

Zen has offered good advice. Please contact me at the customer support center http://www.shrapnelgames.com/service.htm. Replacement CD's are available as long as you have a valid order number.
