Hi all:
I recently had a bright idea (or at least I originally thought so)... or using the spell Blink in assassination attempts by R'lyeh's star children... in general, I find that star children to be very effective, even unequiped... mindbLast rules... but mounted commanders can often get to them before a mindbLast "sticks"...
So I thought... throw a couple mindbLasts then Blink! Throw some more, then blink again!
But it's not happening... I scripted it, but he insists on casting random spells instead of blink...
Why? Is it something about assassinations, because the field of battle is smaller? Is it intentional or a bug?
EDIT: Just tried to have my test assasin cast it when he attacked(not assasinate) a province... and he refused.
Had him scripted as: (Blink) Fire Closest
So this seems like a bug with Blink, or something about scripting I don't understand... I'll do a search about the latter.
EDIT2:
Checked this thread "Reasons why the computer will not cast the spells you script" (http://www.shrapnelgames.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=74;t=001784#000000) , but Blink does not seem to apply to any of the reasons. The target is the caster, no gems, fatique is only 10...
