I spend it studying and constructing mandragora.

I work all day, get home, then play with the kids until bedtime. After they go to bed I get about 2 hours to myself, which I spend playing games. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

On the weekends, if the weather's nice, my family and I try to find fun stuff to do outdoors. We take lots of walks, explore parks, play catch, etc.

I used to work most of my time. Now, I sleep most of my time. Playing computer games still occupies a strong number two time waster position. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Work for about 5 hours, then around go home and have roughly 3 hours for a nap or game or what have you. Then it's back to work for another 3-4 hours, which leaves the rest of the night for....more games. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif On weekends there's usually a date or a movie or a LAN party or something.

Of course thats not ALL I do. Im also taking care of my handicapped son, moderating other Boards, newsGroups, responding to customer support emails, monitoring my own server (had a very interesting organized attack the Last few days), monitoring the systems of other people, and... oh yeah... playing Dominions2.

You weren't supposed to post what you do in real life. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

Sooo now, post the correct information!

Well in that case, I spend most of the time hoarding gems and occasionally wander out to bully some independant nation into believing in a new god. Darn heathens... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

Oh...*I* see.

I spend the majority of my time enslaving lizard-men by breaking their practically non-existent morale. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Oh, ok, well right now, I'm building lots of longbow men. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

I devour the souls of the unbelievers and pillage their women!

Sometimes I think I'm on a low-unbeliever diet. Damn Pretender Atkins.

I explore and discover. Scouts, search for sites, find prime provinces based on their natives (amazons, lizards, raptors). I have a fondness for races where I can go straight to the interesting provinces and take them without having to take everything between me and them.

Unfortunately I have a tendency to not want to shift from that activity while there is still map to be explored so I tend to be caught off-guard by the first rush of attacks.

I spend my time recruiting scouts to find out where my enemies are.

Then I spend more time recruiting more scouts to find out where my initial scouts are.

Then I spend even more time recruiting even more scouts to find out where the scouts I sent after my initial scouts are.

Then I recruit another batch of scouts to find out where my Aspro is.

I spend my time reflecting upon how interesting Abyssia would be if they were led by a 30' flaming penguin of doom. And then I try this idea out. I actually find that this game is more fun to mod than to play. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif

Hmmm... what if Pangea had a really mean cucumber unit sporting four crossbow turrets? *Goes back to modding*

So far I'm the only one who does something peaceful.

Edit: Even Gandalf is killing people.

Anyway, in my spare time, I imprint the souls of my fellow beings, which I consider an utterly peaceful occupation. Alternatively, I devour the brains of those resisting. Mindlessness is peace. Yo.

I spend it browsing the college catalogs.

I can take classes in Evocation for powerful incantations that never hit. Generally I gravitate towards Construction or Conjuration because I like it when there's a real, physical result to what I do. Also, I forget to give gems to commanders frequently. I never forget to give them horror harmonicas or whatever.

I like to imagine that when the tide of war has slowed down for a while, my bulbous-headed Great Sage likes to kick old people.

Edit: Sorry misread the topic.
In my spare time I am asking random people in the streets politely if they would mind casting the spell communion slave to help me increase my magic skill.

In between battles I tend to summon random creatures (whatever I have enough gems to get), forge magic items and then forget which commander I forged it for. Oh, and I check and see if the scouts that I have watching my Harvesters of Sorrow are still alive, and then chuckle at the damage if they are.
