View Full Version : Commanders sticked together. Why?

A very simple questiuon: I have two commanders (one is my Man preteder) that are sticked together: When I select one, the other is automatically selected, if I move one, the move order is issued to the other automatically. As far I can see this is valid only for movemet: if one research the other can defend, as long they are in the same place. Why? Is this a bug? Is the second time it happens to me.
I'm a novice player and have installed the Last patch.
Thank you.

Click 'a' to select or unselect all commanders in a province.

Ctrl-click to add or remove one commander from a selection.

It's a feature, but if you don't know how it works, it is a pain. You can hold down the SHIFT key while you select a unit, and it will join or leave a group with any other selected units. This way you can create Groups of units that move together. You just have to know to use SHIFT to remove them when you want them to split up. Also be careful if some of them are stealthy, because they will Sneak when they can, while others who can't will Move, unless you order the group to Move.

Heh. Answered at the same time. Looks like both CTRL and SHIFT work.
