View Full Version : Recruitment not working?

Even though I have enough resources and gold to recruit a unit, it simply isn't "purchased" on the following turn.

I must be misunderstanding something. I have enough resources and gold, I can que up the unit to be purchased, and the following turn the unit is still in the que.

This has happened when buying Ulm units from a secondary fortress, and in another game trying to buy sages in a province that has a lab.

This has nothing to do with patch 2.11, as this has happened in my 2.08 game.

Is the castle under siege?

I don't believe the unrest was over 100 in the other game, but it may have been.

Thanks.

So even if you have enough resources to put the guys in the queue, you might not have enough when they're actually recruited.

EDIT:
At least that's what I *think* happens... as I've had the above happen to me when I raised taxes.

I'm not sure what happens if somebody captures a province that was feeding into your castle... I *think* that gets resolved after your recruit units show up, but I'm not sure.
