Can anyone give me a quick piece of help? What program can I use to open a map file to print it? I searched under map and print, but did not find anything.
Thanks!

Its a tga file. Any paint program that can handle tga files can print it. Try going to the tga files in the maps directory of Dominions2, and double-clicking a tga file to see if your machine knows of a program on your machie that can view it. Then see if the FILE menu has a print option.
If your paint program doesnt then you might want to get a viewer program that can print. For WIndows I recommend Irfanview which you can get HERE (http://www.irfanview.com). Its a free program with a ton of options.
If you are trying to print a map from within the game (with all the flags and stuff to show whats going on) that involves using the Print Screen key and your paint program.

GP,
Thanks for the tip. My machine does not automatically recognize it, but I will play with what paint programs I can dredge up. I am about to leave the office, so I can not download your suggested site right now. After all, a four day weekend is calling!
On a totally different topic, it will be interesting to see what the non-permanent paralyze does to the power of R’hlyeh. I suspect I will have some comments on Tuesday.
See you after Easter!
