Does anybody know if the arrows fired from magic bows count as a magical attack (for purposes of hitting ethereal creatures). I am sure the Thunder Bow attack is (magical lightning) but what about the Bow of War? Longbow of Accuracy?

Fairly sure it passes the magic attack status off to the ammo, or there wouldn't be a reason to have a magic bow. I know the Bow of War is a magic weapon just off-hand. Unsure about the Longbow.

If you equip a Longbow of Accuracy, then right click on the weapon's name in the Weapons list (bottom, not the item icon) of said wielder, the listed stats are:
Longbow of Accuracy
Damage:14
(strength of wielder not added)
Range: 45
Precision:30
Ammunition: 12
This weapon is considered magic

You can check other bows to varify this if you want (I don't have a savegame handy where I can check the other types without actually forging them) Perhaps someone with such items handy on their commanders or treasury can check for you.

Thanks for your responses. I would have built one and checked but I am in the middle of an MP game right now where the decision to build one or not may be critical.
