Mod to download

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif i want some explanation how function the download Mod. when i download the mod, where i put my fichier? what i have to do with my download? i have to unzipp and after?how function?
please somebody can explain. for example i have the "healing god" downloaded.

unzip to dominions2/mods directory. It will put a .dm file in dominions2/mods directory, and it will make another directory there for all the other MOD files that mod needs (art mostly).

Now open Dom2 and choose "preferences" the "mod preferences". Click on mods you want enabled.

Thinks to gandalf for the response.the game create a Mod directory, is that where i have to unzipp all the Mod i unload?do you can help me the mod interesting that i can unload for a beginner.?

thinks for the answer.phil <font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">You need to create a "mods" directory in your main dominions2 install directory (I think it gets automatically created when you patch, but I'm not 100% sure; don't forget the s in mods), then unzip all the .zip files there. Some will create a subdirectory: don't mess with this. The .dm files need to be in the mods directory, and some mods use files inside subdirectories.
