The Subject should say it all. My VQ is getting stomped by Angel-types using Flambeaus but will Fire Resistance spell or item protect from it? Hoping so ... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

(Note: Haven't used this pretender design yet so I might have something wrong here...) Undead hit by Flambeaux are quickly declared... re-dead. C'est la non-vie. Fire resistance was the least of your problems...

Only if Flambeau do fire damages only, otherwise the x3 will quickly slay your undead queen dead (that sounds paradoxical, lol) Why don't you equip a cheap undead with fire resistant item, and test him out, or test it out with you queen in friendly dominion?

Yes I need to test it. Its not clear. Its just that I needed to know quickly as I was in the middle of an MP game and it was (very) relevant. Game Over (I lost) and I never got the chance to try it but now I need to satisfy my curiousity. I will post my results.

I may be wrong but my best guess is that a flambeau does normal damage (x3 vs undead) with an added chance to set the enemy on fire. You'd be immune to the extra fire, but the sword would still hurt a fire immune creature.
