Last night while playing a large single player game, dom2 kicked me out (while it was doing the host turn), with an error message something like 'Naget the spell'. the a in the first word had a circle above, dont know what that is called. Anyway, now i am unable to start dom2 at all. It starts to load, brings up the black screen, then the error mesg beep and back to windows. I have reloaded the 2.11 patch twice. My next option is to uninstall/reinstall. Before i do that, any suggestions?

You saw the (in)famous "Något gick fell!" message. It is Swedish (the mother's tongue of the developers) and tranlates to "Something went wrong". I can't tell you what went wrong, though...

Was it near the end of a longish game with very large armies?

If your game nagots mysteriously, the problem with the blackscreen crash is caused by a temp file problem:
If you're WinXP, go into the C:\Docume~1\YOUR USER NAME\locals~1\temp directory, and delete the domXXXXX folder, where XXXXX is some number I can't recall. This will banish the problem until the next time you are nagotted.

thanks. that did it.
Yes, it was a large game, with large armies and i had been playing for quite a few hours (maybe memory leak...?).
I had done a search on Nagot, but since i misspelled it, i didnt find anything.
thanks, again.
