Would it be possible to modify the blood sacrifice order so that the slaves are not removed from sacrificers when the pool slaves order is used. Or so that the slaves are restocked at the end of the turn?

Request seconded.

In an only slightly related bit of insanity, the vastly inefficient idea of empowering a Blood Slave in magic and getting it Phoenix Pyre occurred to me. Could it be repeatedly sacrificed in the same battle? (Cheapest route would be to empower it in any one path, then give it a Slave Matrix, and let a Master cast Phoenix Pyre I suspect. You'll also want to have reinvigoration/relief). It's not remotely practical, but the results might be amusing.

I haven't tested this extensively but Abysia Anathamet Salamanders don't restock after a blood sacrifice. Mictlan priests do. What's the deal?

Someone told me that Slaves are took from lab, if it's present in the province.

Another way to alleviate this problem would be to have any blood hunters automatically place their captured slaves in a lab, if available.

I am all for a mechanism that will allow pooling of blood slaves from blood hunters only and not from blood sacrificers. It's one of the few things I really dislike about Mictlan. My wrist is killing me.

Well I don't find it a problem taking slaves from my sacrificers (I just go to the province, hit A then ctrl click the sacrificers to deselect them then press Z to pool) but it would make things MUCH easier if all blood slaves get pooled into lab as soon as they are captured, at the end of the turn. If someone wants to keep slaves in a unit's inventory then they can move them in manually at the beginning of the turn (this is a much, much rarer event then blood hunting) and not set the commander to blood hunt if they want to keep the slaves there.

*IF the unit is blood hunting AND there is a lab present THEN AT end of pre-turn steps deposit all slaves in the inventory to the lab.
