Dedicated servers and CD Keys

Is it possible to host a game using a dedicated server, without having a separate CD Key just for the game host? I want to be able to play, but run the dedicated server on a different computer at the same time. This is much more convenient for me and my gaming group. Is it possible?

Yes. The host is not checked for CD keys.

Thats what I do. I host on a linux server and play from a windows server. Both copies have the same key. I asked Illwinter about it and they said it was no problem.
