I was playing one restless night, maybe at 3 AM, and I summoned with my level 3 bloodmage god (level 1 nature) some foul spawn. I haven't a clue where I got the idea, but I got it:
A Warhammer Fantasy mod. It would be perfect, twelve races, basically all are already made. Marignon could be Empire, or Man could. Brettonia could be Ulm, what with those darn massed Knights.
Abysia could be Chaos... etc. The list goes on. I just wanted to see if anyone liked the idea. Im going to go get slaughtered as Marignon VS Abysia now.

Like the idea? I LOVE the idea! Talk about some work tho. I'm in the process of doing (yet another) mod to change the icons for the banners. Can't even imagine how long a full 12 race mod would take. Would be a bLast to play however.

I think that you got two races the wrong way around:

Marignion are more similar to Bretonnia, and Ulm to the Empire, from what I understand.
