I'm sure this has been discussed before but I just have to say that the format in which the thread Posts are displayed is very poor.

I mean, displaying the Last post first is great for active posters and people keeping close track of a thread... but the *majority* of people need to read from the start to get any context whatsoever. It seems to me that the forum should display first post first and scroll the replies underneath it. But keep a "scroll to Last reply" button that appears in many other web forums.

And I know this is a free service so I hate to complain, but it really is just plain backwards.

Yes it gets mentioned alot. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Actually when it was setup for rare customer support Posts it made alot of sense. But 2 of the forums are more "community level" active which makes it a problem.

There is an upgrade purchase/install to the software in the works but care has to be taken that we dont lose the wealth of information that we already have access to.
