I just closed Dominions2, it was generating a turn. I don't know why, but everytime I exeed 10,000 units it seems to not generate turns. Previously the game also wouldn't start, and I had to reinstall several times before it started working again, not to mention wipe out all my Dom2 files. I would like to know if anyone knows about a unit-limmit? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/confused.gif

Bump.
I've not seen it. Someone mentioned a theoretical 32000 limit to units in the whole game, but that seems a bit low to me.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Well, if you look at the size of an actual battlefield, there's only room for about 8000 units for both sides, if all of the units are Longdead Hoburgs. This number starts to fall dramatically if you're using, say, a mix of longdeads, soulless, ghouls, and longdead horse.
Now you have to divide this result in half to get the number that can fit for ONE side. Naturally, I strongly suspect that if more than about 2000 units are brought to a single battle, Bad Things Happen.

So I guess sending an army around 6000 large was a bad idea. (Mostly longdead velites etc, and around 1000 longdead horsemen)

Is that what caused it to die gruesomely?
