Haven't found this documented and need some explanation. I start a game as Mictlan and on turn 1 I spend all my gold. I also blood hunt with my pretender and patrol with the Tribal king and 25 troops.

When turn 2 starts I have 81 gold in the bank, an income of 158, upkeep of 29, 13 blood slaves, 25 dead insurgents, and 8 unrest, no random events. What puzzles me is that if my income is 158 and my upkeep 29 why do I only have 81 gold to spend? The gold totals only account for 110 gold. I'm missing 48. I got 13 blood slaves, and killed 25 brigands that's 38. Is that a coincidence? If someone can help me understand what is happening I'd apprectiate it. (Version 2.12).

Order of events:

(a) Bloodhunting
(b) Unrest rises
(c) Tax collection
(d) Patrols decrease unrest

So, assume your capital nets you 200 gold/turn at zero unrest, assume unrest rises to 50 because of bloodhunting (thus cutting your income in half), and assume patrols reduce unrest to zero. Next turn your income will still be listed as ~200, but there's 100 less gold than expected in your treasury.
