At the moment the C'tis taskmaster is worse than indie commanders, but costs an extra ten gold. My suggestion is giving them a 'Capture slaves' command, similar to Mictlan's tribal kings, but creating (fewer) lizard slave warriors.
Of course, modding tools to allow this sort of thing would be great as well http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif .
Thanks.

Supposedly, they're the only who can control the slave lizards, so I guess they should have something linking them to slave lizards. I agree with quantum

Thematic. I don't see why not.

Actually we had something like that in mind when we developed Dom 1. Unfortunately we ended up with several dozens of commander types and it made leadership and micromanagement of armies a big bother. We had started to include leadership types for lizards, abysians, jotuns, knights (knights do not like to take orders from those not noble-born) etc.
Some kind of restriction with lizars slaves might be good though. The taskmaster is not very useful as it is.

Well, the suggested alternative was to have the Taskmaster be able to create Slave Warriors via a "capture slaves" option. Then maybe if Slave Warriors were then removed from the recruitable list, so in order to get them, you *HAD* to use Taskmasters, so they'd be kinda like Mictlan slaves, only with regular upkeep.

I believe this should be nice to have all those leadership different values.

I read the Last post first. Slave production would of course not affect leadership in any way.
The problem with free units is that they are difficult to balance, but with upkeep this is less of a problem.
It is actually a good idea. We'll have to think about it.
Edit: I obviously didn't read very carefully either.
