I am getting tired of playing my 8+ player games on Karan.
What new maps out there are suitable & balanced for this number of players?

i would like maps which are unwrapped http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
i like the standard orania map but what i like most on aran/karan is they are unwrapped so once you conquer a territory at the egde of the map it is quite save and only in danger through teleport spells and so on http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
is there anywhere an unwrapped orania / desert eye for download where
1. the egdes don't look so cut off
2. neighbors of all brinks are corrected that the former wrapped orania neighbors aren't still neighbors ?

Well, there's the new Cradle of Zen that Zen tweaked. The old Cradle map was a kaleidoscope of clashing terrain flags that rendered the map impassable to any non-flying strat-move 2+ units, and made the map effectively a barren wasteland where population in excess of 5K was the exception, not the norm. Zen did some tweaks to make the map more playable to all races. I figure he needs some lucky victims to run a game on it now.

Tyrande is another; I think it has 103 provinces, making it good for 6 to 8.
As Norfleet said, I have made a few changes, mostly based on the desires of a few other forumites to modify some of the limitations of the Cradle of Dominions map.
Here it is, if you do not see the other thread.

I have been playing hot seat on the middle earth map for 2 games now. For up to ten players, I recommend it.
