Too cheap to pay for express shipping yet too ancious to wait http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif .
I'm sorry Lach, it is not availiable in stores, only Online. I know all too well the eagerness of the wait. Though, I do have to say that the shipping usually goes without a hitch and you'll be knee deep in it soon.
Have fun! I'm sure any questions you may have the community here will be able to help you with some of the answers.

where are you from lach ?
i am from germany e.g. and ordered it at ixsoft so i had to wait only a few days.
in one of the fixed links threads is a link where to buy dominions perhaps a store of your country sells it so you save some days of waiting http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

If its in "local game stores" then its only because they bought some and shelved it based on someones request (like Im trying to get my local store to do).
There are multiple links in the stickie for links where you can buy it. Mostly because of being in diffrent countries. But buying from Shrapnel is still recommended for the best customer support responses if you have any problems.

Good deal.
I remember laughing about it, because I had considered upgrading to one of the "faster" shipping methods, which ironically would all have taken longer to arrive.

I'm from New York... I'm gonna wait a day or two before I decide to buy it..... Last few games I got I loved the demo for so much(or played on a friends comp) then found it wasent that great after a week.... also, how popular is the multiplayer, is it easy to find a game... is there a network to find other players in game?

I had he same worry.
Im usually careful and lace all my comments with things like "I think" or "in my opinion". One of the few gaurantees Ive ever felt pretty safe in making is that IF you can get thru the demo for Dom2 then it will live on your machine far longer than games of equal cost. There are people here who have played Dominions for years and still debate tactics.
There is a web site up for games. Its been a project in work. Its working pretty well now and I suspect someone else will put one up soon.
There are also games arranged here, and in IRC. Id say its fairly easy. As soon as there are enough that want a game, they usually start one. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

You could try the dominions 1 demo to get a better idea of the game, it has less limitations.

Honestly I picked this up back in November and I really haven't played much else since, except maybe Tiger Woods 2004.
It really keeps you coming back for more. I actually have lost interest in New Releases over the Last six months, mainly due to the depth and incredible replay value of Dom2.
Worth every penny and then some. Enjoy and welcome to the dom-munity.
