Can I cast Enliven Statues under water? And will they fight on the first turn they are summoned, or do they have to be in a wizard's army in order to be activated in battle? In general, will Dom 2 let me summon things underwater that die when they are summoned? (I don't suppose so, since several other summones -- e.g. Trolls -- are grayed out).
Thanks!
Merry

Yes, you can summon them underwater, and they appear as summoned units in your provincial garrison.

THe ability to cast a summon spell underwater is only tenuously related whether or not the unit is capable of underwater survival. In theory, it's possible that a summon spell could summon a unit incapable of surviving, in which case it would drown. In practice, however, all spells that are known to create such units currently are not permissible underwater. However, there ARE summoning spells which summon units perfectly capable of underwater survival as an innate ability, that nonetheless cannot be cast underwater.
