Upkeep costs...

I may be completely missing the boat here, but where do I find upkeep costs? Is it part of the costs to build a particular unit?

I know this is a bigtime newb questions but after hunting around, I can't find anything.

A quick SEARCH for "upkeep" would have found threads answering this. Upkeep is 1/15 the original cost of a unit in GP, per month. Sacred units only cost 1/30 instead of 1/15.

Thanks for the response, and I recall seeing this somewhere now that you mention it.

And yes, I could've searched the forums, but sometimes that's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Several times I've searched for info only to pour over information not pertinent to the subject matter.

But thank you much for your response. Believe me, I search for most information, but this one was eluding me.

Most summoned creatures cost nothing, but there are some exceptions. Trolls (and sea trolls) are summonable, but can also be bought at some special sites. They have a cost of 60 gold (trolls likes gold) giving them an upkeep of 3 gold each.
