Why is it that there are some individuals, cough CH cough, that send Messages in game that they haven't even spent the time to ensure they are to the correct country? Or is this a new strategy........ Remove your bothersome spy who is really 1/2 way across the world from me from my territory or feel my wrath. Is that supposed to make me quake in fear so I screw up my next turn? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

They need to change the message writing thing. At the top, it says 'A message from Abysia'. Hey, I am Abysia and I KNOW who it is from. Why repeat that?
It should say 'A message to Pangaea' to make sure you didn't misclick in the previous menu. Because once you click, there is no easy way to verify you hit the correct box.
Oh, and I got the same message in that game. Obviously, he sent it to everybody, hoping that someone fesses up. Like he can believe anything anybody says in reply to his global threat to the world. I can't even build spies, lol.
Hm... maybe you are on to something with the crack theory.

New strategy? I used to do that all the time. I would "accidentally" send a message about alliances, backstabbing agreements, or troop movements to the "wrong" nation. And Im sorry to say I didnt come up with the idea. I think its been a standard military strategy for a long time (disinformation) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Well, it wouldn't ruin my day if it did ... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Actually, I mistakenly thought there was more than one nation in the game that could recruit spies. While I presumed it was the one which was my nearest neighbor, I didn't know who my other neighbors were yet.
And since the message-sending interface sucks _so_ bad (ie, can't cut and paste, can't send to more-than-one-but-less-than-all, can't even see what Messages have been sent and to whom (which sucks massively for gems / magic items, etc), I sent to everyone.
And also - I _have_ sent a diplo message to the wrong nation before. Clever strategem? I wish. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
But between the way you can't cut and paste, can't edit what you've written unless you erase all the way back, and can't review, if you've sent several _long_ Messages to people, no way are you going to "delete all" and spend another 15 minutes typing away. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
