Ditto. Mine is 52.66272%, which is not bad for a 45-yr.-old.

You're not a 'Major' geek yet. Just a 'Sergeant' geek. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I can feel the sweat and Vick's Vapo Rub thick in the air after such a Test.
How many thought they would ace that test, even before they looked at it? Eh? Super Geeks?

Which i guess makes you a Colonel geek. Which reminds me of Colonel Bleep, which I guess you're also old enough to remember. And that recollection should have been worth bonus points on the geeks test, but wasn't.
For the record, I am a mere geek: 16.96252%

52.26824%. Disappointed. Too much clothing variety and poor geek music knowledge did me in, I was hoping for extreme at 55% http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Sure you can, you'd have to be an old-fashioned geek though...
Actually, most of the questions there aren't computer related (that's why I have a low score]

Bah. A site hosting a geek-test that doesn't run under Opera and/or requires some cryptic Java settings. Booh. A geek definitely should know better.

35.1%? If I'm almost 65% non-geek then you 50% types must be some scary, scary people. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Seriously though, too many TV and music quetions! I'm much too busy playing computer and board games for that stuff. Where are the MUDing questions? What about BBSes? I was robbed, I tell you!

that's because board games and MUDs aren't antisocial. I think the quintessential characteristic of geeks that detachment from following "normal" social behavior. That's why anyone who scores higher then 50% would have a pretty disfunctional life http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif
Although having said that, there is a majority of our society that's socially disfunctional without being "geeky". So you can't blame it all on star trek and binary.
