oh and lifedrain works on everything right ?
are the differences in the various kinds of lifedrain attacks ?
i know:
- the built in : ryleh illithids , vampires , ghosts etc.
- the death spell lifedrain
- the lifedrain from weapons like wraith sword
- the blood lifedrain spells
do they work all the same or are there differences ?
all can damage undeads + constructs they just don't restore hp + fatigue on the user or do i miss something ?

Your assessment of lifedrain vs. undead is correct.
As far as I know lifedrain attacks all work the same way.
Finally, I think sleep vines/elf shot/ other fatigue causing effects can affect undead units unless specifically exempted, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

Well I am not sure either, so I think you should still not be 100% sure http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Lifedrain work fine on zero enc undead units. I've seen banelords accomulating a lot of fatique in a duel with other wraith-sword wielding SC. Although he usially dies before geting over 100 fatique, since he doesn't have a lot of hitpoints to beging with.
